A Great Performance at City of Leeds, Summer Long Course Meet – June 2022

As we near the end of the season, we saw a great team spirit with fast, competitive swimming and a host of PBs across all squads. Blackpool Rocks May 28th- 29th 2022

Over 30 swimmers from across 4 squads competed to the best of their ability at this popular gala, bringing home a grand total of 23 medals; over 40 other top 10 places were achieved and an astounding 90+ pbs were smashed! The improvement of the swimmers was plain for all to see, and reflective of the time and commitment put in by swimmers, coaches and parents alike. North West Region Special Olympics

Nine members of the squad attended the NW Regional Special Olympics in Liverpool on 16 May 2022. Some brilliant swims were achieved with a total of 11 personal best times, and a total of 2 gold, 9 silver and 4 bronze medals won. A brilliant atmosphere and another event where our swimmers continue to amaze us – proud of being Team BOK.

Spring North East Region Championships

Our BOK swimmers’ competitive, fast performances were terrific at the Open and final weekend of the Age Group NER Championships @Ponds Forge and Leeds (31st April, 1st May, and 7th and 8th May). With a great team ethos – the squads delivered many PBs, final positions, and seven medals overall. Highlights include a fantastic medal haul by Daniel Jackson, who gained gold and three silvers! North East Region Age Group Championships 2022

The first weekend of the Swim England North East Region 2022 (SENER) Age Group championships took place on the 23rd and 24th of April at John Charles Stadium Leeds.
