The first weekend of the Swim England North East Region 2022 (SENER) Age Group championships took place on the 23rd and 24th of April at John Charles Stadium Leeds.
It was a thrilling weekend of fast swimming with five BOK swimmers from JP2, JP1, and Nationals meeting the Regional qualification times and competing against the fastest swimmers from the NE regions – Samuel Jackson, Poppy Nuttman, Henry Priestley, Thomas Hill, and Edward Williams.Three of our swimmers were finalists across the weekend; Samuel Jackson (200 Butterfly), Poppy Nuttman, (50 Breaststroke, 100 Breaststroke, and 50 Freestyle), and Thomas Hill (50 Breaststroke). We also saw impressive PBs, great learning in a pressurised competitive environment, and fantastic team spirit from all swimmers.
