Artistic Swimming Competitions

Artistic Swimming Competitions

There are two strands for competing in artistic swimming:
• Recreational – BOK competes in the recreational strand
• Competitive – BOK acts as a feeder club for City of Leeds Artistic Swimming Club

Recreational Strand

Despite its name, the recreational strand is competitive. Swimmers have the opportunity to compete for medals and trophies in solo, duet and team performances, as well as figures.

Talented swimmers may be invited for additional training and to compete in the Competitive strand with City of Leeds Artistic Swimming Club. However, these swimmers will still be eligible to compete for BOK in recreational competitions. Swimmers will be given more information if this applies to them.

Provisional dates for 2021 competitions:

Date Competition Location
Dec 2021 Combo Cup Virtual

The club is run by volunteers and competitions are only possible thanks to the generous help of parents and guardians. During competitions we need a volunteer from each swimmer’s family to take on one of the competition roles detailed. Training will be given where necessary.
