BOK Training

Training sessions are run by qualified coaches, who are supported by parent volunteers. Training takes place as follows and all swimmers should arrive at least 10 minutes before training starts:

Pool training Sunday 3.30 – 5.00pm Holmfirth Swimming Pool
Pool training Monday 5.00 – 7.00pm Almondbury High School swimming pool

Competitions usually take place on Saturdays or Sundays, however some national competitions can take place mid-week.

We need your help and support

As the club is run by volunteers, we ask that one representative for each swimmer helps out at training and competitions. Details about our competition roles can be found on the  info and forms page or the competitions page.

Meet our coaches
Our dedicated coaches, Jade, Sarah and Ellen have been involved with the sport for many years. The coaches also choreograph routines which, over the years, have won numerous medals at local and regional competitions.

Jade Wyke
Jade started artistic swimming aged 7, when it was known as synchronised swimming. She competed for a number of years at local, regional and national level and is a former Yorkshire Champion. Jade has been coaching for almost 9 years and is a qualified Level 2 coach.

.

Sara Roberts
Sara started as a poolside helper when her daughter started what was then ‘synchronised’ swimming almost a decade ago. She then started working alongside Jade, and in 2018, Sarah qualified as a Level 2 coach.
