Performance Swimming in Kirklees

City of Bradford Long Course Meet 2023, June 10th- 11th 2023

Written by Suzanne Smelt

John Charles Centre for Sport was the venue for this popular end of season gala, with scores of BOK swimmers from across the squads taking part. As a club, BOK certainly made its mark, with, what must be, a ‘season’s best’ number of medals and some outstanding swims from up-and-coming younger swimmers. A real tribute to the excellent coaching that the swimmers receive week on week, and also a reflection of the swimmers’ own personal commitments to the sport. BOK was represented in every event and pbs were broken again and again. Far too many to mention! Outstanding! Thank-you to CBASC for their hospitality and for providing our swimmers with the opportunity to compete. Huge thanks also to the team managers and coaches who deserve medals themselves for what was a very busy weekend!
