What a day – 9 swimmers attended the NW Regional swimming competition in Liverpool on 17 June and had some amazing results. The medal haul for the team consisted of 3 gold, 6 silver, 5 bronze and a wonderful 14 personal best times between them.
Whilst we came away with one or two “teaching points” for next time, it was mostly a day of things to celebrate –
Aisling Connelly – bronze medal
Alice Godard – 3 pbs, bronze medal
Alwi Flaye – 1 pb, gold and silver medals
Jack Drennan – 1 pb, Gold, Silver and Bronze medals
Joanne Kempley – 3 pbs, gold and silver medals
Lily Baird – 2pbs and bronze medal
Rebekah Hill – bronze medal
Ruben Reuter – 3 pbs, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals
Zoe Rank – 1 pb (and celebrating 25m of a legal breaststroke!!)
