He broke his own record by the tiniest of margins over the longest distance. 1500m freestyle 50-54 years New record 20.37.46 Old record 20.37.89 He also set a new record in the 400IM in a time of 5.41.85. Stephen along with Ben Johnson also broke more records at the Lancashire Masters event in Blackpool at the start of April. Read more →Due to the British Swimming changes to the competition structure our External Gala Entry Form has been updated to reflect that swimmer age criteria can now be either age in year or age on day, depending on the competition. As previously, the form may be completed electronically prior to printing out for coach signatures. With the exception of the K&D galas (which has a dedicated form), this is the only form to be used for entries to external galas for the new year and into the foreseeable future.
