First records of 2015 broken

The first masters record of 2015 was broken by Stephen Bottomley at the North West Region gala held in Wigan in February. He broke his own record by the tiniest of margins over the longest distance.

1500m freestyle 50-54 years

New record 20.37.46       Old record 20.37.89

He also set a new record in the 400IM in a time of 5.41.85.

Stephen along with Ben Johnson also broke more records at the Lancashire Masters event in Blackpool at the start of April.
