Twenty-eight swimmers from the BOK squads competed at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, at the Spring Derventio Excel meet on 19th and 20th March weekend.
Qualifying times for the event were tough as this is a highly competitive, fast weekend with elite swimmers competing from clubs from far and wide across the country.
With younger swimmers from JP1 and JP2 competing alongside experienced National and Senior swimmers, it was a great team event with impressive PBs and medals against stiff competition. BOK Swimmers achieved 13top three places with three gold medals brought home by Daniel Jackson and one gold by JP 2’s Hussein Kesserwan. An excellent performance ‘Team BOK’!
